About
A Wyoming-headquartered developer
of power and campus, together.
Teton Digital, LLC is a Wyoming-headquartered developer of large-scale, vertically integrated power generation and Tier-compatible data center campuses. Operating since 2022, Teton has developed power-and-compute infrastructure across multiple jurisdictions in the U.S. and Canada.
Built for exactly this. A founder-led team pairing three decades of capital allocation and governance with ground-up data center development, construction, and operations across North America — an active 3 GW+ grid and behind-the-meter pipeline — plus natural gas commercial and capital formation depth and 30+ years of large-scale industrial operations leadership. Multiple years operating in Alberta, with deep provincial regulatory, grid, and power-infrastructure expertise. Execution is supported by an engaged bench of 18 specialist firms across engineering, construction, power equipment, gas and midstream, regulatory, land and Indigenous consultation, grid interconnection, financial advisory, tax, and legal.
The company
Full lifecycle. One sponsor.
Teton manages the full project lifecycle — origination, permitting, engineering, construction management, and operations. Our flagships in Alberta — Black Bear and Northern Forge — anchor a 3 GW+ pipeline, with additional U.S. development across North Dakota, Iowa, and Texas.
The thesis is structural, not speculative. Power, not silicon, is the binding constraint on AI. We site projects where natural gas is structurally cheap, where the climate reduces cooling load, and where regulators are actively incentivizing new dispatchable generation. We bring our own power onto our own sites — which is what lets us energize two to five years ahead of grid-dependent alternatives, at a Year-1 cash cost of power of approximately $24 per MWh.
The team behind the projects.
Founder leadership pairing operating-side data center experience with multi-cycle capital allocation discipline — across project origination, capital strategy, and board governance.
Gregg Bennett
Co-founder & Chairman
Gregg co-founded Teton Digital and serves as the company's Chairman, where he leads board governance, capital strategy oversight, and senior counsel on capital partner selection. He brings more than three decades of capital allocation and operating experience across technology, data infrastructure, and information services — including a longstanding board role with the Alliance of Angels, the Pacific Northwest's leading angel investment network, with more than 100 companies financed and advised.
A Stanford Graduate School of Business MBA and former CPA, Gregg has founded and chaired multiple companies across data infrastructure, energy-intensive computing, and software through multiple market cycles. At Teton, he provides the institutional capital, board, and operating perspective that pairs with Scott's development and execution focus — anchoring the company's discipline around financial structure, counterparty selection, and long-horizon thinking on power-paired digital infrastructure.

Scott Bennett
Co-founder & Chief Executive Officer
Scott co-founded Teton Digital in 2022 and serves as Chief Executive Officer, leading project origination, capital strategy, and overall direction. The company was built on a single thesis — that the next era of digital infrastructure will be won by developers who treat power generation and the data center as one integrated asset, sited and capitalized together rather than bolted on after the fact. Under his leadership, Teton has assembled an active 3 GW+ pipeline across the U.S. and Canada, weighted toward natural gas combined-cycle and behind-the-meter campuses.
Scott brings more than a decade of operating-side experience to that work. He has designed, built, and operated data center infrastructure across North America through multiple market cycles, including the 2018–2024 period that reshaped how the industry thinks about power, cost structure, and counterparty discipline. Those lessons directly inform how Teton selects sites, sequences development, and chooses the partners it builds with today.

Founded in 2022 on more than a decade of the principals' data center development and operating experience, Teton's track record spans multiple jurisdictions in the U.S. and Canada. The current portfolio is the result of disciplined project origination, permitting, and operations — compressed into four years.
-
2022
Teton Digital, LLC founded. Initial focus on behind-the-meter power-and-compute infrastructure. Digital-asset compute is one workload class — never the company's identity.
-
2022–2024
Multi-jurisdiction operating period. Teton develops and operates power-and-compute deployments across multiple U.S. and Canadian sites. Texas behind-the-meter partnership reaches 256 MW with ERCOT interconnect approval; Iowa solar-and-gas hybrid partnership advances; pipeline scoping and counterparty relationships established in Alberta.
-
2025
North Dakota Phase II Conditional Use Permit secured. 100 MW Tier 3 campus advances.
-
Aug 2025
Northern Forge enters active development. 10-year firm gas supply. Caterpillar G20CM34 (9.8) reciprocating engine purchased
-
Early 2026
Black Bear spin-out completes. Teton becomes the project sponsor for the fully-permitted 466 MW NGCC and ~2,500-acre campus in Alberta.
-
April 2026
